Weddings, Civil Partnerships and Receptions

The Upper House Hotel is licensed for civil marriages and partnerships. We maintain beautiful gardens and surroundings which make ideal backdrops for photographs. We pride ourselves on being flexible enough to tailor-make your day to meet your individual requirements: our experienced staff will be delighted to help you plan a truly memorable day.

Your wedding or civil partnership will be the only one held at The Upper House Hotel on your special day. Maximum numbers for a meal are 100 and for the evening buffet and entertainment 150. The rooms licensed for Civil Ceremonies will seat up to 50 (Wedgwood) or 100 (Woodland).

From April 2010 there will also be a new orangery which will be licensed for ceremonies. This will overlook the gardens, which will be a backdrop for your special day.
